Type: Epiphytic. Hybrids derived from inter-breeding Miltonia and Odontioda orchids.
Features: Egg-shaped pseudobulb with two or three upright or arching strap-shaped leaves. Slender flower stalks carry several showy richly coloured flowers, each generally about 9cm (3-1/2in) wide and with a large ornate lip.
Size: Generally up to 60 x 45cm (2 x 1-1/2ft).
Special needs: Bright but filtered light; intermediate to cool temperatures (even tolerant of fluctuating temperatures); water moderately; foliar feed fortnightly during active growth; no rest period required.
