Stenocarpus Sinuatus (Catherine-Wheel Plant)

(Proleaceae) origin: Australia

A really easy and increasingly popular plant, with an attractive, woody, treelike stem. Its deeply incised leaves are 6 to 7 in. long and about 4 in. wide. Tinged with a ruddy brown when they first emerge, they later become pale green. Prefers a light, cool position away from direct sunlight. Keep  the  roots  moist but do not over-water in winter. Feed regularly during the growing season.
