Oncidium: Dancing-lady orchid

Type: Epiphytic. 

 Egg-shaped pseudobulbs with two leaves. Upright or arching stems carry quite small blooms in succession. Colour ranges from red and pink, through shades of brown to green, yellow or white. Flowers: may have petal-like wings at their centre and a crested lip. 

Size: Up to 1.2m (4ft) tall.

Special needs: Full sun; intermediate temp.; water sparingly; foliar feed fortnightly; rest all winter.
