Miltonia: Pansy Orchid

Type: Epiphytic. 

Features: Egg-shaped pseudobulbs, each has between one and three leaves; it’s upright stalks carry between one to ten large, almost flat, pansy-like flowers, each 5-10cm (2-4in) wide; they vary in colours, usually with a dark blotch.

Size: To 50 x 30cm (20 x 12in) high.

Special needs: Moderate light; high humidity; cool to intermediate temp.; water moderately throughout the year; foliar feed fortnightly; no winter rest.
